Strata Studio
A live sonification of the Solana blockchain. Nothing is recorded or looped; every sound is an event on the network, voiced the instant it occurs.
Each block is a beat — the kick, the chain’s heartbeat, roughly 2.5 times a second. Each transaction is a note, the melody written by the transactions as they arrive. Chords turn with the validators leading the network; a swell marks each block made final. The arrangement reads the network’s state: building as activity rises, stripping back as it falls. Every few days an epoch closes, the validators hand off, and the piece lifts into a new key.
The work is tuned to E, derived from the network’s pulse: 2.53 Hz, lifted into audible territory.
