The Year of the Idea Guy
A few years ago, I taught myself some basic Python, HTML, and CSS. Enough to read code, not enough to ship anything meaningful.
Through some twists and turns I got fascinated by blockchain technology. Not the gambling. The infrastructure. I started a business using the underlying tech for real-world loyalty programs and onboarded 1,000 people onto blockchain in one weekend.
But through all of that — the products, the launches, the pivots — I was always the person on the founder or product side of the table. Describing what should be built and why. Helping shape narrative and operations. Never writing the code myself.
Last weekend, I just… built it. All of it.
